NACME Pre-Engineering Students Meet Nobel Laureates
Kirsten Redmon and Enrique Reyes, both from San Antonio, Texas’ Sam Houston High School, one of NACME’s Academy of Engineering sites, were nominated by NACME to attend Adeventures of the Mind, a mentoring summit gathering students with 50 Nobel, McArthur and Pulitzer Prize winners. In their application essays Redmon and Reyes described their struggles with poverty and why they are deserving of this life-changing honor. Read more in the San Antonio Express-News.
